Scottish Weekend Breaks, Holiday Accommodation in the
Highlands of Scotland near Fort William
Corriegour Lodge Hotel is at the centre of The Great Glen, a geological fault-line famed for its wild and dramatic scenery, that cuts right across Scotland from Inverness in the east to Fort William in the west. Along its length runs the Caledonian Canal, which links east and west coasts via a sequence of lochs including the famous Loch Ness and our own Loch Lochy. It is an ideal place for walking, cycling, pony-trekking, climbing, fishing, sailing and other watersports.
This gateway to the Highlands and
islands is the perfect base from which to discover the
beautiful, historic and unique Scottishness of the area. There's something guaranteed to suit all interests, and
within easy travelling distance.
Castles such as Cawdor, Urquart, Tioram, Eilean Donan (above)
stand as if in defiance of the passing years, while the
mysteries of Loch Ness will remain just that for years to
generations to come.
Other attractions include the National Trust for Scotland
Centres at Glencoe, the Glenfinnan Monument and Inverewe
Gardens, the Cameron, MacPherson and MacDonald Clan Centres,
the West Highland line stream train, Clan visitor centres,
Highland Wildlife Park and numerous golf courses.
Scotland's
newest ski development Aonach Mor can be easily reached,in
under 20 minutes, by car, and the famous Whisky Trail takes
the visitor to many of the distilleries in the area.

'special' weekend break, or accommodation for a longer stay whilst
discovering the delights of the Highlands of Scotland, we look forward to
meeting you soon and helping you to explore our unspoilt
